Dr Shao is both the Chairman and the Chief Executive Officer with over 10 years of industry experience. He is both a scientist and an entrepreneur. He is primarily responsible for the company's overall strategies, planning and business development. Dr Shao is also the Chairman & Co-Founder of Suzhou Weibo Investment Co. Ltd. He is currently a Deputy Director of China Academy of Sciences Institute of Management Innovation. He was also the CEO and chief scientist of Collagen Biological Laboratory, where he was in charge of research, production management and sales, as well as obtaining multiple national patents. 

 

Between 2011 and 2012 Dr Shao was the head of O'Reilly Italian Biomedical in Jiangsu where the company joint ventured with Nanjing Liuhe High Tech to launch the 1st innovation incubation in Suzhou. Dr Shao has led the R&D team and successfully launched and produced multiple class 1, 2 and 3 national drugs. 

 

Throughout his career he has excelled in his field and has won numerous awards for innovation, management and influence as an l entrepreneur. These rewards include the '2016 Annual China Private Economy Most Influential Entrepreneur' and "Figures of the year" at 'China Scientists Forum in 2013 Technology of the Year'. 

 

He has a Bachelor's degree in pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University in 2000 and he completed both his Master's and Ph.D. from Peking University, School of Pharmacy between 2000 and 2005.
